ntfs file system blue screen

I have a micron laptop and after loading the Windoes 2000
title screen I get:
stop 0x00000024
(0x0019025e,0xf4033858,0xf40334b0,0xbff050a5)
ntfs_file_system

What does this mean and what can I do??????

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It means there was an error reading NTFS file system. I would start by
booting from Windows 2000 CD to recovery console and running chkdsk /r.
