I am getting ready to install winxp pro on a new hard
drive. I have another drive with files already on it that
I wish to keep...MS Money backup as well as jpgs and other
files I will continue to access. These file are fat32 as
I was dual booting to win 98. I want to swith to NTFS
file system and was wondering how I should proceed.
Convert first or load winxp pro as NTFS and then convert
other drive. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.Thank you!

load XP onto your boot partition/drive converting to NTFS
at the same time and , then once done, copy your data
across onto the boot partition/drive, as XP will read both
NTFS and FAT32, then you can delete the fat32 drive and
reformat it as NTFS.
