NTBackup XP Pro

NTBackup fails each time I enter the backup portion of the wizard. I can
enter restore, however I have never used the utility. Upon trying to enter
"backup" I instantly receive a "need to close" message. I can not find a
simple error code to look up in support. The "close" message offers to send
an error report which as numerous data. Is there a simple fix, or is there
something in the "error report" which can be decoded for diagnosis? thanks.

Error Signature: appver: 5.1.2600.2180 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer5.1.26002180 Offset: 00024bf1

"technical information about error report" can be accessed by a "click here"
which yields pages of numerical data.
