I have installed the NTBackup from the CD but have problems to make it start
up. Restarting the computer several times and reinstall seems not to help.
When trying to start NTBackup.exe I get a window saying "Looking for backuo
devices" and that is all nothing more is happening!!!!! How can I get this
thing to run and what causes this?

When you setup your backup task, what destination did you select for the
backup file? That's what ntbackup is looking for. If the destination you
specified no longer exists, a network share for example, ntbackup will
keep looking until 'Charlie from the MTA' returns.

The problem is that I have not even been able to make any backup tasks!!! I
installed the program and when I try to start it for the first time it shows
this message and the message stays there all the time. I can not get into the
program to make any backup tasks. So its very confusing...

Strange indeed, the next day when I start up the PC it started to work!!!!.
At the same time as I installed the NTBackup I also installed an Lacie USB
harddrive that I wanted the backup to use. I could copy files to the disk etc
but the NTBackup would not start up at all. I guess it needed some time to
get accustomed to its new hostage :) Now everything is working fine. I also
installed the "Enhanced Windows Backup" and everything seems to be working
fine.
