ntbackup and schedule task

hi, I'm having a problem with a backup that I'm making of my exchange server
5.5 using ntbackup.
When I run the backup manually, it makes the job ok, but when I make the
back up on a schedule job, it takes considerably long time to complete it.
I wanted to see if someone knows why this problem may be happening?

You need to examine your backup log. It is called backup??.log
and it is stored deep inside c:\documents and settings.
