Nt4 doesn't map network printer

When a nt4 client connect our Windows 2000 tse, only local
printers are mapped correctly in the session. Network
printers are not visible and we can see an error in
eventlog for each printer session try to connect.

Any idea ???

Are you running the latest rdp client? The earlier version had
problems with network printers.

And which events do you see in the EventLog? I'll guess at
239088 - Windows 2000 Terminal Services Server Logs Events 1111,
1105, and 1106

Then I would map it to a native driver, as explained in KB 239088.

But there is a big problem : The error message is just :
Impossible to install printer. nothing else.
How can we know which printer we need to remap in a .inf
file ?

That might require a bit of searching. Does the event indicate a
client computer name? (I can't check right now).
If not, you could match the event in time with the logon events in
the security tab. The 1106 event should occur at the same time a
user logs on.

There's nothing about a client name or a printer name. It
doesn't occur with a win2k client (Printers are OK in
win2k client).
