What are the minimum required for Win NT4 DNS for working with WIN 2003 DNS ?

Having NT4 DNS and Server 2003 DNS installed.

You do realize that NT4 doesn't do AD integrated, and that standard
primary and secondary zones are universal across every DNS server,
right?

Can you explain your situation with some more details?
Is your Win 2003 an AD? are you trying to set up a secondary DNS on win NT for the pirmary win 2003?

You can use NT4 as a secondary for Win2k3 AD if you have SP4 or later on the
NT4. Support for SRV records was added to NT4 at SP4.
You should not use NT4 as the primary because NT4 does not support DDNS at
any level, unless you are ready to manually enter all of the records needed
for AD.
 
Theoretically NT 4 Sp4, but IIRC there were some issues
further tweaked in Sp5. It is all a moot point as running
NT 4 at less than Sp6a plus rollup plus a host more is a
foolhearty venture. With NT 4 at rev, treat its DNS like
an older, limited version of Bind, around 4.9x or so.

As others have said NT4 Sp4 can be used as a Secondary --
due to the support for SRV records.

NT cannot be a AD Domain Primary DNS Server due to lack
of support for dynamic registration.

Anyone running NT should be running SP6++ though, so the specific
service pack is not really an issue.

I have win2003 DNS AD integrated and a NT4-sp6a . I can't add a secondary
zone at NT4 DNS server.
I have the following messages:

- Error creating zone: The new zone could ont be created because there is
already a zone by this name. Verify that the zone name was entered correctly
or choose a new zone name

- dns.exe - application error: The memory could not be written

I'd like some help! Thanks in advance
