Hi

I am applying GPO's on my network. The polices work fine on the W2K and XP
clients. I understand that I will need to keep a NTCONFIG.POL for the NT4
Clients. My network uses 3 W2K DC's. Can someone advise how I should go
about setting this NTCONFIG.POL up.

Thanks in advance

Ha!

Can I just claify, the beer has muddled my brain.

My NT4 Clients (W2K User accounts) will not have the GPO applied as this is
a full W2K Domain. To apply a policy I need to create with poledit a policy
and place it in the sysvol within the W2K Domain.

Thansk again

Yes, you need to use ntconfig.pol files for the down-level clients.

This article has a good overview on how system policies and group
policies works in mixed environments.

There doesn't seem to be many polices, is it possible to apply the password
policy, and lockout policy?
