I currently have XP pro on my server, with another
computer running xp and another running mandrake 9.1 with
samba 2.2.8
I recently had to reinstall thanks to someone playing
around with my comp, now, i cant seem to set the network
up properly again.
When i try and conect from my server to the xp pro, call
it comp x, it works fine. When i try and connect from
comp x to the server, it won't allow guest access, it
only allows administrator logon. When i try and connect
from the smb server, it sasy that "nt status access
denied". How do i fix this as i have allowed guest
permission in the sercurity policy. Is there something
that i am forgetting to do? Or maybe a way to reset the
network/sercurity policys and start from scratch with a
working system? Please help. It is rather annoying to say
the least.
