Hi

Does AD make use of the feature that you had in NT for have a PDC and
several BDC's. This is a bit confusing as I thought that you can only have 1
DC per domain and no BDC's whereas some of the posts suggest that you can
have several DC's in place.....

Which is description is correct????

Thanks

You can have sevaral DC's in one AD domain. AD does not have concept of
single-master doamin (master PDC/slave BDC), but multi-master, which means,
that all DC's are equal and updates can be perdormed on all DC's. This is
light-yeasr from PDC/BDC concept.

Thanks Matjaz & Michael

This info helps a lot. I think AD makes sense when you look at it logically
but when you are used to NT4 it does take a lot of time to get around to
things being a bit more easier!!
