NT NetShield when logged off

Hy all,

I have this NT4.0 SP6 whit McAfee netshield installed, it works just
fine except that I'm unable to "logoff" the current session and have
McAfee keep on working.

I need to logoff as administrator, because other people need to logon
now and than for useradmin and backup 'n stuff, everytime someone logs
on McAfee starts up again, but I need to have it running even when no
user is logged on, because it's a fileserver too...

Any idea why this ?

Unless you somehow completely screwed-up the installation, whenever you logon to
the Server, you get a Netshield Splash Screen. That's not the program starting
up.

Proof is to install Netshield Console on a WinNT Workstation and point the
console at the server without an Admin. logged into the server. If you can
control the console of the server, its just the Splash Screen I mentioned and
NOT the program loading on each logon to said server.

OK thnx,

I figured so much ...
because when viewing the "Statistics" of the total files scanned,
it did incerement ... but I just needed to be sure.
