Hello!
I'm using Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Citrix Metaframe. Sometimes I
have problems with printing from client machine. I solve it by disabling
autoconnect printers in client session and add them manually to a server in
the session of client. It works ok with win98 clients - I add network
printer to server and it connects through 'lan manager printer port' and I
can easily add permission to this user only. if the client is NT - settings
dialog opens security options from client local machine - not server. So I
can't add the user from active directory to this printer.(Client computer
don't log into domain) Is there any solution to connect printers from NT
clients to a server through lan manager printer port like win98 clients? Any
advice will be appreciated!
Kindest Regards,
