On scheduled tape backups i continually get a message -
Backup could not be performed because no unused media was
available

Using new tapes or ued tapes - overwrite tape option is
selected - not append

manual backup always stops & asks to overwrite tape & then
works ok

what am I doing wrong

Is there a time limit on the volume, which stops you
overwriting the existing backup?

Is the back-up media long enough to take the backup?
