Is there one in particular that will fix the problem right

Here's a trick to prevent the shutdown:

Double click the clock and change the day to yesterday.

That gives you 24 hours of uptime.

First, IMMEDIATELY disconnect from the internet before a "friend"
leaves a gift on your computer for you.
DO NOT reconnect until this issue is resolved.

Install or enable a firewall immediately.

Run an updated virus scan.
Or Scan for Viruses online:

Also be sure to update immediately to prevent this in the future:

Al Larose left a note on my windscreen which said:
I too am getting the same problem. I have also found a
program "msblast.exe". This progam showed up the same day
the prob started, refuses to go away, and keeps restarting
itself. It isn't list anywhere on Microsoft's site and I
can't find any reference to it in virus databases

MS Blast worm
