R Richard McCall [MSFT] Jan 29, 2004 #2 It will fail to promote to a DC. You will have a choice to not make it a domain controller and then it will just be a w2k3 server in a NT4 domain. If you want the w2k3 server to be a DC then you must upgrade the PDC.
