We are in the midst of migrating our NT domains to our
2000AD(native mode) domain. We have some NT4 workstations
where we have user policies (ntconfig.pol) to lockdown
specific individual users. When we migrate the account to
the new 2000AD domain, the user policy does not work under
the 2000AD settings. Is there a way to lockdown NT4WS
pc's without upgrading to 2000WS? We need a solution
until we can upgrade these workstations (new pc's with
o/s). Is it possible to move the ntconfig.pol to the
2000AD and have the NTWS recognize/use these existing
policies? Any help/suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
