Hi,
I posted the following in Symantec.support.winnt.nortonutilities.general but
have yet to see any response. Maybe someone here knows the answer.
I have Norton SystemWorks 2003 pro installed running on Win XP Pro. Lately, in
about 1 case in 10, when I boot up the PC the background colour of the Norton
System Doctor icon in the taskbar changes from the normal blue to orange. If
I click on the NSD icon or go into the Norton System Doctor setup and info
window the colour changes back to blue.
I am guessing that NSD is indicating a problem of some type. Can anyone give
me a clue what or where to look for information about it? I couldn't find out
anything in the manual about this.
About the same time I started seeing a window popping up that says that NAV is
not turned on. The window disappears after about 10 seconds. Could this be
the cause of the orange background in the NSD icon?
