Sorry if this appears as a duplicate, I believe this was
sent to the wrong group previously.

Hi,

All of a sudden NSLOOKUP and similar commands
are said to not be recognized.

Any feedback or ideas on fixing would be really
appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi

Is windows\system32 in the 'Path' environment? If not you will need to add
it. Right click My Computer, select Properties and then the Advanced tab.
Click 'Environment Variables', highlight 'Path' under System Variables and
then Edit. Add the following:

;C:\windows\system32

Thanks ...
I found this apparently screwed up entry was made the other
day when I installed an old program.. I don't want it and hadn't
yet uninstalled it. I uninstalled but then I had to delete the addition
to the path manually.

Note that Norton's Clean Sweep could not uninstall it.
It reported possibly a full disk. But this might also have lent
itself to that erroneous conclusion.

C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\ULEADS~1\Mpeg

NSLOOKUP works again.

Regards,
Fox
