Baalrog

Hi all
I have a pal with the "Nowfind 103 and he cannot get rid of it with
spybot or ad aware,, anyone any ideas how to shift it!

Can you please provide more information. Is this non-virus malware ?

Is the version of Ad-aware, Ad-aware SE v1.05 and is it fully updated ?

Has SpyBot Search and Destroy v1.3 been used ?

He has the latest versions of adaware and spybot and run them both, this
thing seems to have taken over his browser (Explorer) and no matter what he
does it will not allow a home page change, if you do a google search for the
term "nowfind 103" you will see some other posts regarding this. (using XP
home)
Ps it also put some URL's in his fav list which cannot be deleted!
