speaking from a server-client point of vue, what is the maximum of concurent connections (users) can
NetWare 5.x/6.x and W2k Server OSes support? Can any documentation\white papers confirm this?

Hi Dave,

this depends on several things:
- Licensing
- Server hardware
- applications in use on the server and how well the app(s) scale on a
single server
- Usage patterns
- Communications infrastructure (e.g. whether or not you are using gigabit
ethernet or 100 Mb/s)

For general file/print, NetWare has traditionally supported many more
clients on a single-processor server than Windows Server, for other
applications (web serving, web proxy, e-mail, etc. and if hosting multiple
apps on a single server), you need to look at the situation much more
closely.
