Nov 11 and Nov 19 Security patch problems MS03-049 MS03-043

Hi

We pushed out these security patches last week and on Monday morning boot up, the PC's at my College started having many problems. Office applications will not load, When I try to open up task manager, it shuts down in about 3 seconds, I can not add/remove any programs ( i get installer errors), I can not run windows update, I can not run IE. IT pretty much destroyed all our desktops. It actually stops a lot of services from auto starting....What is the deal. We have many different flavors of desktops, so it can not be related to the hardware....Please help...Thank You!!!

You do know that you loaded a VIRUS, don't you?
