Notification of incoming calls while online?

I have windows XP and one of the programs that
automatically ran on my system notified me of incoming
calls. Recently-for no apparent reason, it changed a
little and now it notifies me and even offers to hold the
datastream, but I can't actually take the call. I wondered
if it happened in one of the more recent auto updates, and
if anyone knows how I can fix this? I do NOT like
Callwave and would hate to have to go back to paying those
rip off artists.

Have you tried asking the company who makes that software?

No, but I guess that's a good place to start. It was
working so well before. THanks!
