I need to either hide or disable an icon in the notification area in WIN 2k.
It doesnt matter if whole notification area is hidden / disabled, or if its
just the one icon. Is there a way to do this?
There seems to be a million and one ways in WIN XP, but this is for WIN 2k
machines.
Any help appreciated.

I'm familiar with his work so I'd be willing to recommend this:

I tried this and it did work. However, we have policies against freeware. A
registry hack or a group template would be ideal.

Anyone any other ideas?
