nothing of intrest here---internet exporer on every web page

ok so the subject says it all,a friend of mine cant
access any sites,they either get a 404(page not found
error or a nothing of intrest here error)im guessing its
a virus but which one and norton doesnt find anything

any ideas would be great
 
It may be a parasite.

Go to my web page (www.mdmccarthy.com) and click on
Downloads>SpyBot. Download this, install it, set it up and
run it. I'll bet you'd be surprised at what you find. I've
found parasites that refused network access and internet
access. Drop me a line if this works (or doen't work).
