Ok, I upgraded my BIOS. Now I have nothing showing in
Device Manager. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Nothing? As in absolutely nothing at all? How can your computer run with
nothing in Device Manager? This should serve as a hard learned lesson.
Never, ever, ever attempt to update your BIOS unless it is not working at
all. There is no reason good enough to ever upgrade your system BIOS with
the exception of complete system failure that can be attributed without
doubt to a faulty BIOS. You will have to un-upgrade it by flashing the
original BIOS back, if that is possible for your motherboard. If not, you
are screwed.

My Plug N Play was already set to automatic, does anyone
know had to reverse the BIOS upgrade. I was told a BIOS
update would improve my computer because it was crashing.
No more crashing now has brought NO Device Manager.
Please Help.

One, after the BIOS flash, did you power down the computer, wait for 10
seconds or longer, and then power up? You should power down after the BIOS
flash.

Two, did you clear the CMOS table copy of the BIOS? It could be the two are
out of sync. Find the 2-pin header on your motherboard where you use a
jumper to short it for 10 seconds to clear the CMOS. If you cannot find or
don't have a jumper, remove the wafer CMOS battery for a minute and then
replace it. Then boot and go into BIOS to check settings and restore any
customized settings.
