I stopped using it because it doesn't have multiple undo. Now use
SciTE or Crimson Editor.

Greetings, Peter Passchier

I do wish that the "Light" version had multiple undo and redo, but it is
hard to not use it at times for some functions because of the powerful
macro lauguage that is fun to use and useful for taking care of repeated
tasks. Of course, I have about 4 different text editors that I use
regularly.

Even my payware Standard version of Notetab doesn't have multiple undo.
I didn't realize that for the longest time -- kept thinking it was me
overlooking something about usage. One-level undo? A cripple factor
like that is just not something I normally expect to come across.

The NoteTab fans are pretty intense in their affection for that, its clip
lang. Myself, I've always held off taking a move to learn it. It's that type
of decision about how much time you want to invest in learning a subject which
works for only one particular program.

Yah, different editors work better according to what kind of activity
you're doing....

Thank you for posting this. I spent a loooong time last night wondering
if I was crazy for having 6 or 7 different word processing programs on
my computer (only 3 of which I use in my home business)

I keep looking for the perfect editor for both general use and c++
programming. I think I have downloaded every freeware editor in
existence but have still failed to find something which provides all the
functionality I desire (tabs, tags, class/function explorer,
'programmability' etc).
I keep coming back to vim (or rather the windows gui version gvim). Why
do I search then? - GVim does not have that elusive 'sexy' feel.

Indeed, not sexy but it does the job.

We're not alone:

I've tried cream, but I was afraid I would get used to it :-)
