notebook connect to internet but doesnt browse the web

Hi,
I have a notebook that connects with internet but doesnt browse the web.
I had Windows 2000. I have changed the DNS's. I tried different ISP
providers, different modems and different OS ( I changed to Windows XP), but
it doesnt browse the web.
¿Any idea?

Chances are greater that your problem is related to software, rather than
hardware, so you would be better served asking in a different NG. If you
*really* have a good internet connection then it's somewhat unusual that
you cannot browse. It would have been very helpful if You would have told
us which browser you are using and what type of internet connection you
have ... dial-up, DSL, Cable, etc.. Take a look at the connection settings
options in whatever browser you are using for some clues to your problem.
