Hi all,
lately when I run "tracert" it gives this result.
1 <10 ms <10 ms <10 ms 192.168.x.x
2 10 ms 10 ms 10 ms 10.x.x.x
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 8 ms 11 ms 7 ms ....and then all runs normal
This 10.x.x.x wasn't there some time ago. Neither was the "timed out" line.
The LAN has the usual 192.168 adressing and my WAN-side adress isn't 10.x of
course, its 84.x.x.x.
I've read rfc 1918 but can't figure out where this 10.x adress is coming
from or "where " it is.
Why is there the time out line, who is not/slow responding ?
the local setup is: W2k server DC-DHCP-DNS-AD , XPpro Clients , NAT- router.
Many thanks in advance for all info.
