I am looking for a U.K supplier for photo glossy paper. 150 & 250gsm.
Some time ago I bought a load off an e-bay trader in the warkwickshire
area but for the life of me I cant find the invoice and cannot now
find her e-mail(name was Linda I recall). Does this ring any bells
with anyone, assuming she is still trading.

Failing this can anyone here make any recomendations for bulk (500+)
orders of the above in A4. Need not be branded as it will primariliy
be used for office presentations and CD/DVD artwork so final finish
need not be 'artwork' quality.

Lastly can anyone explain the difference between what is advertised as
Glossy Photo and Photo Glossy. The former is available from verbetim
for £7.50 A4 150gsm per 100. This is quite a bit lower than the
cheapest Photo Glossy that I have found, I am guessing it may be
either a dpi. or drying time issue.

Thanks

And again if there is a more appropriate NG for this post just flame
me gently and I'll be on my way :-)

Presumably this is for inkjets, have you tried Viking-direct, they have
a fair selection of papers. Probably best to buy a couple of computer
magazines and look through the adverts.

I should perhaps have stated that I have made a fairly extensive
search of all the mainstream suppliers, Viking included but their
prices are rarely on a par with with alot of the smaller or sole
traders advertising on e-bay. What I'm looking for is a tried and
tested small supplier offering bulk cheap photo glossy injkjet such as
I had before. Thanks for the taking the trouble to respond all the
same.

You could try either consumablemad:

or MX2:

Viking?! You must work for them or you wouldn't have said anything. They are
complete rip-off merchants! Their prices are at least 50% more than anywhere
else!

www.kenborne.com. Where I get all mine from - and JetTec is fantastic.
They're small, independent and very reliable. What more do you want? 500
sheets of 210g/m² will set you back £158.50 and it really is fantastic
stuff. I use their ink too.

I don't buy inkjet paper from them, since I don't use one. I tend to
load up with paper when they have a special offer, so I currently have a
100 reams of copier paper that cost £1 a go.
