Windows XP Not sure whats it for?

I have been given some freebie software from Microsoft, mostly trial stuff, but some of it i have never come across, so here goes: MS Operations Manager 2000 & Visual Studio Net2003 Pro. So what can i do with them?? Apart from trendy coasters:confused:
 
I got some bits like this a while back too - some were useful like the 180 day Windows/Office trials. Net 2003 Pro is really good if you like programming, my trial expired a couple of months ago but I had a good play round with it before that :)
