Before anyone can offer you real help, you need to make sure that you have
downloaded all Windows Critical Updates at
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and that you are running current
anti-virus software. My suspicions are that the answer is no to one or
both.
At the Windows Udpate site, let it scan your system for needed updates and
then download all Critical Updates. After you reboot, repeat the process
until there are finally no more to download. You can also look in the tray
at the bottom left-hand corner and see if there is a globe icon with a
message saying that updates have been downloaded and need to be installed.
Never ignore this as so many people do. It's very important to the safe and
correct operation of your machine.
Do the same with your anti-virus software. Make sure all updates have been
downloaded and installed.
