When I found out (by e-mail from Microsoft)that a new
download was available for my Windows Antispyware(Beta),
I downloaded it, but then made the mistake of clicking
SAVE instead of RUN. After the SAVE process ended, I
clicked RUN but nothing seemed to happen. (I wanted what
was saved to my hard disk to actually be installed, if
I've got it right.) When I clicked "About..." it showed
my version as 1.0.509, which expires on July 31, & my
Spyware Definition Version as 5727. I was reading that
the download is supposed to, among other things, extend
the July 31 expiration date.
How do I get the "software update" I "saved" to "run" or
actually be installed, & how can I check to see that I've
done it correctly?
