NOt sure what type of cable you have connecting the tow
machines.. if your cable is going between the two
mahcines.. -minus hub or router... then you need a
crossover cable... this will loosen the cost of a hub or
router... don't have the wire configuration here with me..
but you should be able to find the specs for a crossover
cable on line... best way to describe it is from right to
left and the clip part of the cable facing down so you see
the pin side up.. and cable going towards you.. thats the
way to look at the rj45 clip. now pin 1 and 2 stay the
same.. pin 3 goes to pin 7 pin 4 and 5 stay the same.. pin
6 goes to 8.. 7 goes to 3 and 8 goes to 6... I believe
this is the rigth order for a crossover cable.
