Cal M.
I have Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.3821) configured
for "Corporate or Workgroup". Under Services, I have two
Internet E-mail accounts and one Microsoft Exchange Server
entry. On the Delivery tab of the Services window, in the
second box, I have the two Internet E-mail accounts listed
first, followed by Microsoft Exchange Transport.
When I go to send an e-mail, it appears that it doesn't
matter what e-mail address value I enter in the From field
of the e-mail. Regardless of the value that is entered,
when I go to look at the e-mail in the sent mailbox, the
value displayed in the From field is:
{e-mail address of the first Internet e-mail account
listed in the second box of the Delivery tab on the
Services windo} on behalf of {value entered in the From
field when the e-mail was written}.
If I change the order of the Internet e-mail accounts in
the second box of the delivery tab so that the one I want
to send from is listed first and I don't enter anything in
the From field when writing the e-mail, then everything
works as expected.
Does anyone know if there is a way to send e-mail from
different e-mail accounts set up within Outlook 2000
without having to change the order of the Internet e-mail
accounts listed in the second box on the Delivery tab of
the Services window before hitting the Send button?
Thanks,
Cal
