Not seeing caddy drive

Hi again,

Just a small one for you guys this time... I have XP Pro SP3, I have a
Sata main drive partitioned into two and I've been backing up onto an
internal drive that's in one of those removable caddys. No problems so
far. Anyhoo, I decided it might be a good idea to get another
drive/caddy so I can have one in the machine and one someplace that
isn't in the machine, keep the backup safer. I tried the new drive int
he caddy in the mach9ine tonight and XP Pro recognises it's a drive,
said so when I first booted with the new drive in, but it won't appear
in Explorer or device manager or like that. So, Windows doesn't
properly see it. What should I try now, do you think?

It's ok, I got it. I got my backup software to see it, then I could
format it. It's formatting now.
