not saving user names and passwords

every time i log into a page that requires a user name and
password windows asks if it wants it to remember it,
iclick yes and when i go to that page again i have to re-
enter the user name and password and it asks if it wants
windows to remember user name and password again.
how can i make windows remember user names and passwords?

I am having the same problem specifically with Pop Server
passwords. It will work for one day and the next day it
must be reset.
