 Hi ,normally when clocks go back or forward my pc does it for me ,when i turned on sunday it was the old time so i had to put it right by clicking the clock,my question is could it be my battery is coming to the end it 4 years old ,also what other signs would i get for a battery on it's way out ?would it make the pages slow to open up ?

The battery wouldn't slow down pages at all, the way to tell if your battery is gone is to check that the system clock isn't way off (and doesn't keep track of time when the PC is off).

I'm not sure why your PC didn't adjust the time automatically, there may be a settings in WinXP asking you if you want it to do this automatically and it may have been off. I have Windows Vista now so I can't double check unfortunately.

If you are using XP right click on your desktop clock then left click adjust Date/Time then set your time zone and check the box automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes, click ok and that should be it :thumb:
