Not Responding when MS Word as editor begins...

Outlook 2003 has performed well for 5 months... this
morning, it is non-responsive to:
1. Reply function: hangs up when trying to start MS Word
as editor...
2. Clicking on Help.... hust hangs and clocks...

Rebooted 2x with no help... Any clue as to what is
causing the hangups?

Just a guess ... but perhaps your normal.dot is corrupt.

1. Close Outlook.
2. Close Word.
3. Rename normal.dot to normal.old
4. restart word to recreate your normal.dot
5. restart outlook and you should be OK.
