Not recognizing Hardware

I dont kno all the terms or anything but my computer wont read either of my drives. they dont even show up under my computer. i have no idea how to fix it. i checked the IDE and it seems to be fine. everything is working. if anyone knows how to fix my problem and get the computer to recognize the drives PLLLEeeease write back. thanx
 
Alex - usually when your computer doesn't recognize a hard
drive its becasue an IDE cable is loose/misconnected or
its power supply is out or its simply gone bad. When you
enter setup/CMOS the first page should list your drives as
Primary IDE=0, CD-ROM=1 etc. Have your tried doing an
automatic HDD search in CMOS?
