Your motherboard has something onboard that is reserving
the difference. There's nothing you can do, and it won't
affect anything in the long run.

All joking aside: Activated devices on the MB before Win. loads eat some KBs
here and there.

Lets say: 256.0 - 0.01 = 255.99 read as 255.
Simple as that.
