When I try to download a file, I am not prompted to save
it or open it from its location. I was being prompted
before but not now. All the help I could find on this was
for Mac and I am using Windows XP. What should I do to
get the save box back?

Brandon,

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download"
option for that filetype:

Click "Start" -> "Program Files" -> "Windows Explorer".

Then click "Tools" -> "Folder Options".

Change to the "File Type" tabs.

Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype (example :"PPT
Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation") and click the "Advanced" button.

Then check the option "confirm open after download".

Also, set the "NoSelectDownloadDir" to "0"
