Not printing whole page

In both Publisher 2000 and Word, the bottom (in Portrait)
or the right half (in landscape) about one inch of the
page is missing. It cuts off text leaving about one inch
of unprinted paper either at the bottom or right hand
side.
I run XP. I have three printers, and I am getting this
effect on all three, so it seems to be either the Windows
programme, or my computer.

I have tried every Help suggestion, and now I am
desperate!
 
Generally that's the area of the page on which the printer cannot print. If
you need to print borderless, then you are looking at one of the much newer
range of printers. Older printers need at least 0.4" margin on each edge of
the paper.... some need more.
