I AM USING FRONTPAGE 2003. I POSTED MY FIRST WEB AND USED MUSIC AS
BACKGROUND. THIS IS NOT LOADING PROPERLY. I AM USING FTP AS OPPOSED TO
FRONTPAGE EXTENSIONS.
HOPE SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME AN ANSWER.
THANKS IF YOU CAN.

Did you import the music file to a location inside your web before you inserted it as a background
sound.

Can you post a URL.

is your caps lock stuck? - fix that first and we might consider giving an answer
to your question.

What has ftp format got to do with playing background music? do you mean you're
publishing from Frontpage using the FTP method?

To put in a background music file, right click in the page, go to Page
Properties, choose the 'background' tab, and insert the file you want to play as
background music - be aware this is the IE method only and won't work in anything
besides IE. You can manually add the code for Netscape/Others using the
<embed=file.mp3> tag.

If the background tab is *not* there, then go to Tools, Page Options,
Compatibility and change the 'browser' to 'custom' or 'IE only', "OK" out of the
dialogues and go back to right click, page properties, background and then insert
the soundfile under the 'background sound'.

Tell your users to count their blessings?
