When connecting from a remote office to the home office, over dsl via Win
2000 Server VPN, I'm not getting a valid IP address on the remote host. The
remote subnet is 192.168.20.x, and the home subnet is 192.168.10.x.
However, after establishing the VPN connection, the remote office machine
has the following IP associated with the VPN connection:
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 169.254.198.52
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 169.254.198.52
....and my DHCP server is a separate box from the VPN server.... Everything
is Win2k AS.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
