Not fully trusted location

I work on a small SoHo LAN and prefer to save important files directly
to a server which is automatically backed up every night. When I try
to set the server as the storage location for my VB.Net projects I get
a warning message that the 'project location is not fully trusted by
the .Net runtime' and therefore the code will not execute as 'fully
trusted'. But I don't know what this means in practice.

For simple Windows Forms applications am I likely to notice any
adverse effects from using a network storage location?

TIA

OK I can answer my own question here. Yes there's an immediate problem
in trying to run a project stored in a netwrok location that accesses
the local file system. But I've managed to solve it by setting the
local Intranet to fully rusted (oops, actually that should be fully
trusted but rusted seems somehow more appropriate until I get some
more cash to upgrade it) via the .Net framework admin wizard running
from an admin account.
