I am running ms office pro 2003 on dell m70. I could not find the not =
symbol in the drop down box for symbols. I tried adding ≠ but it inserted a
blank space. How do you type all these characters in at one time while just
typing?

Hi "KingsKid",

You can find it in Windows "Character Map" and copy\paste it from there.
