Help-
I a made a major mistake by adjusting my virtual memory/paging
settings way too low. I thought I was doing the right thing. A
program was requesting more memory to work and I adjusted
settings way too low.

The machine will boot up but will give me a "not enough memory
or increase paging settings. In other words, not enough memory
is allowed to get me to the desktop to change those settings.

Here is what I have tried so far:
-"last best configuration" does not allow me to get in
-"safe mode" goes to a black screen with the words "safe mode"
in the corners of the screen and my last update listed on the top of
the screen.

I looked up my problem on the MS support database and it tells
me to talk to my administrator to adjust the settings. Uh, I am the
administrator of my own computer. Useless information.

Help me!!! Thanks.

Try a repair by booting from CD or boot floppies, select repair, emergency repair, fast repair. if that fails, boot from CD or
floppies and enter setup and run a repair install. Recommened setting for virtual memory from what I have seen are 32 MB + your
physical memory. I set it to twice my RAM and things run favorably.
