It appears after an update to my Win 2K computer, I get this
message when I try to map a drive on another computer. I have
tried the suggestions by Microsoft to alter the IRPStackSize to
no avail. The permissions are Everbody and the drive(s) is Shared.

Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem?

Many thanks...

I forgot that the update was a Microsoft weekly update, but I do
not know for sure if that is what created the problem...could
coincidence.

This article describes a procedure to restore the server service to
auto-tuning status. It includes deleting, among others, the
"IRPStackSize" value. Which may fix your problem.

Genius...absolute genius...OK, what am I suppose to say to
someone that took the time to answer my question and came up with
a solution.

Is "thank you" enough? Seems so little when I have been trying
to solve this problem for so long, but nevertheless: Thank you!

Great news. You're quite welcome.
I celebrated too soon...the problem came back! Darn it!

Any other suggestions?

Something I have noticed is when I go to My Network Places and
get to the computer on the Domain, there is a drive listed that
does not exist. There does not appear to be a way to remove it.

In the Computer Management on the computer in question, the Drive
is NOT there...

You may need to delete the key for it found within;

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network
Dave -

I found it under lanmayserver | Shares and lanmayserver | Shares
| Security

The Keys you suggested are the mapped drives and they are OK.

Many thanks....now to get rid of the "Not enough storage is
available to process this command"...
