I bought my computer used. There are many drives, and the
C drive is out of space, I have removed any programs that
I knew I could, and still have too little space. In fact,
though I have removed about 700 mg of space, I still don't
have 200mg to run on.

I believe I need to be able to put most of the C drive in
Hi Mem? How to do that?

You don't. You can't transfer hard drive data to memory in the manner that you are suggesting. How many drives are shown on your
system, and what size is the actual drive that is installed? Perhaps it was poorly partitioned.

silly me ! this is a win xp forum!
have you emptied all your temp files? there is one in
windows folder called temp, there is another in each of
the user accounts, under C:\Documents and
Settings\ME\Local Settings\Temp where ME is the account
name, mind you Local settings is a hidden folder, so you
must first make it visible, using folder option,
lastly change your virtual memory file to a different
drive, since you have a few of them, empty your recycle
bin too after you deleted all your temp files.

yours
