I wish to apologize if I have put this in the wrong
newsgroup. Here is my problem. I have about 70
Games/Programs in the system and on my current res
(1024x768) I have run out of room on the All Programs
windows , I don't really want to up the res any further
so is there anyway I can just move the game/program files
to a new folder without unistalling them first for example

I installed a game serious sam under its default setting
(d:\Program files\croteam\serious sam) I however moved
the game folder croteam to a new folder I created on the
start menu, can I do this for all my games without
encountering problems later cause I really don't want to
have to unistall them

If thats the case just increase your virtual memory that
will help you.
And yes if you move some of the games from all programs
to a new folder you will get get more space in all
programs.
Also defrag your os it will organize the files and make
them tighter and give you more space also you can
compress the files which will also give you more space.
hope this helps you.

If the problem is simply a lack of space on the All Programs menu, you can
create new folders on that menu and move some of the shortcuts to these new
folders to create more space. Right click the All Programs button and select
Explore/All Users. You will see the shortcuts on that menu. Create some new
folders that categorize the games and drag the shortcuts for the games into
the different folders.
